Tamara Andersen

Tamara Andersen, age 66, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, on September 15, 2025. She was born November 10, 1958 to Norman and Shirley (Holsan) Petersen in Beatrice, NE. Tammy was raised in Beatrice, NE, then moved to Omaha in 1978. After high school, she attended Milford College and, upon graduation, began her career at Mutual of Omaha. Tammy enjoyed time with her family, going on impromptu drives, and Mahoney cabin trips with friends. She loved cheering on the Huskers and had a gift for making everyone laugh with her quick wit. Above all, her greatest pride and joy were her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Andersen; her father, Norman "Bud" Petersen; father- and mother-in-law Richard and Margaret Andersen; brothers-in-law, James Andersen, Duane (Marie) Andersen, and Larry Hartman.

Tammy is survived by her children, Janet (Matt) Eppenbach and Sarah Andersen; her stepson, Chris (Brett) Clark; grandchildren, Easton, Graham, and Collins Eppenbach, and Cameron and Brooke Clark; her mother, Shirley Petersen; her sisters, Roxanne (Brian) Saathoff and Rhonda (Steve) Cobb; her brother, Kevin (Shirley) Petersen; and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM all at Good Shepherd Funeral Home's L Street
