Tamara Dawn Mcdonald

Tamara Dawn McDonald was born in Sioux City, Iowa to Kenneth and LaVonne (Loftis) McDonald on December 9, 1960. Tamara sadly passed away on September 3, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 60.

Tamara was an exceptional nurse her whole life. Anyone who knew her knew how caring and sweet she was. Tamara was so sweet that she even was an extraordinary baker. She could bake everything under the sun and it turned out delicious.

Tamara's faith ran deep. She was a member at Ambassador Worship Center in Omaha and she was involved in the Children's Ministry and the Women's Prison Ministry. Every church that Tamara was a part of she would volunteer for them throughout her life.

Tamara would give the shirt off of her back for anyone. She went out of the way to do for others first and always put herself last. Tamara has over 30 surgeries and she never gave up. She was strong.

Tamara is preceded in death by father Kenneth McDonald; grandparents Elmer and Dorothy McDonald and Merle and Opal Loftis; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by children Tausha McDonald and Taneasha McDonald; grandchild Tamarius McDonald; mother LaVonne McDonald; siblings Randy (Brenda) McDonald, Scott (Ann) McDonald, Lori (Tim) Sitzmann, Todd (Julie) McDonald, Tiffany (Mike) Miller; nieces and nephews Leslie (Josiah) Gonzalez, Blake (Aerial) McDonald, Alyssa Miller, Sierra Miller, Jared Sitzmann, Brett Sitzmann and Conner Sitzmann.
