Theresa Early

Theresa Early was born July 28, 1957 in Omaha, to Homer Early and Linnie Daugherty. She passed passed away January 8, 2026 after a fall. She is preceded in death by Parents, Homer and Linnie Early, niece Glenda Ellison-Bell

Growing up in South Omaha, Theresa attended Indian Hill Elementary and Junior High. She graduated from South High in 1975. Graduate from the University of Omaha, 4 yrs later with a BA degree in Interior Design. After graduation she became employed at Mutual of Omaha, later she became a customer service employee for Nebraska Furniture Mart.

Theresa Served in many ministries at Mt. Zion C.O.G.I.C. from hospitality, pastor's aide committee, mother's board and women's department. Wherever else she was needed!She enjoyed attending Sunday School and added a lot of value and thought provoking perspectives to the class discussions. From preparing gift bags for guests, holiday bags, making sure the church had supplies, stocked and organized in the kitchen serving meals during events.Theresa was there, faithfully serving her church. Known for her love of plants, cats and being with family.

Theresa leaves to mourn, her sister Thelma Early-Bell; nieces, Andria and Tamara Bell, Nephew Stacy (Stephanie) Bell; 13 great nieces and nephews; 22 great-great nieces and nephews. and a host of cousins and friends.
