Vincete Lamont Bostic

Vincete Bostic, affectionately known as Vin, was born on March 16, 1969, to his mother and best friend, Brenda Bostic.

Vin began his education at Franklin Elementary School before attending Lewis & Clark Middle School. He went on to graduate from Omaha Central High School in 1987. In 1992, he proudly earned his business degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

Vin was a kind-hearted man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. His generosity, warm spirit, and genuine care for others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Vin was also gifted with a natural talent for communication and was a beloved and eloquent announcer at the annual Peak Performance track meets, where his voice and presence became a memorable part of the event.

To those who knew him well, Vin was affectionately nicknamed “Two-Win Vin” through his adventures in fantasy football—a playful name that captured his competitive spirit and sense of humor.

Vin leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved mother and best friend, Brenda Bostick; his wife, Mary Bostic; and his children, Ryan Perez, Leticia Perez, and Earl Johnson Jr. He also leaves behind eleven beloved grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Vin also leaves countless lifelong memories with his “room-dawg,” Bobby Jelks, whose friendship and bond with Vin were truly special.

Vin’s life was defined not only by the years he lived, but by the relationships he built, the laughter he shared, the kindness he extended, and the memories he created with those he loved. Though he is no longer with us, his voice, his humor, his generosity, and his loving spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
