Virginia Catherine Schamp

Virginia Schamp, age 85, passed away peacefully at Hospice House on December 7, 2020. She was born September 13, 1935, to Donald & Phyllis Capalite in Omaha, Nebraska. Virginia enjoyed many activities including the outdoors, bowling, dancing, traveling and all things Husker Football. Her pride and joy was her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schamp Sr.; her son, Robert Schamp Jr.; sisters, Darlene Frost and Phyllis Simon; and brothers, Larry Hert and Donnie Capalite.

Virginia is survived by daughters, Pam (Dennis) Squier and Jean Fields; and son, Steve (Laura) Schamp; 17 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; 3 wonderful sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Services to be determined.

The family will direct memorials.
