WD Davis Fondly Known As Doug was Born In Ashdown, Arkansas To The Parents Of Lonnie Lee And Pearly Mae Williams. WD Was The Third Child Of Seven Children. After Graduating From Little River County School, In Arkansas, Doug Moved To Omaha Nebraska.

Doug Was United in Marriage To The Love Of His Life, Margaret Matlock And To This Union One Son Douglas Davis, Better Known As Dougie Was Born.

Doug Confessed, At A Young Age, That He Believed The Lord Was His Savior And Was A Devoted And Dedicated Chirstian. Doug Was A Long Time Active Member Of Morning Star Baptist Church, Singing In The Men's Choir And Faithfully Serving As A Deacon Alongside His Wife Deaconess Margaret Davis.

Doug Worked For JF O'Neil Packing CO And Later Retiring As A Head Building Engineer For Omaha Public Schools.

Those Who Knew Doug Knew He Loved Spending Time With His Wife And Family, Going Fishing, Watching Sports, Practicing The Guitar, Singing With His Group The Echoes Of Melody And reading/ Studying His Bible. Doug Was A Devoted Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend. He Was Proceeded In Death By His Parents Lonnie Lee and Pearly Mae Williams, His Wife Margaret Davis, His Brothers James E. Davis and Virgil Williams and Sister Earlee Fitzgerald.

Doug Leaves To Cherish His Memory, His Loving Son Dougie, His grandchildren Nia And Dontae. Great Grands Dexter, Deyona, Dey'Sani, Douglas And Taniyah. His Sisters Fancey Williams And Ocie Smith and Brother Nathaniel Williams And Sister In Law Ruth Matlock. Along With A Host Of Nieces, Nephews and Friends.

Services will be held at Morning Star Baptist Church, 2019 Burdette St, Omaha, NE 68110 on Friday, September, 4, 2026. Viewing from 10:00 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Funeral Service will be livestreamed below.
