Webster Lee "Bam" Williams

Jul 9, 1984 — Jun 28, 2026

Some people leave behind accomplishments. Others leave behind memories that make you smile every time you think of them. Webster left both.

Webster was born on July 9, 1984, in Omaha, Nebraska, and passed away on June 28, 2026, in his hometown at the age of 41.

He was born to Reginald York and Angela Williams, who both preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved foster mother, Markita Smith, whose love, guidance, and care became an important part of his life.

Webster's life wasn't always easy, but he met life's challenges with determination and resilience. His story was one of perseverance, growth, and always trying to become a better man than he was the day before.

He graduated from Bryan High School, where he earned a football scholarship. Although he had the opportunity to continue playing football, Webster made the decision to stay home because he wanted to be present in the life of his firstborn son.

Determined to continue growing as a father, Webster proudly completed the Fathers for a Lifetime program. While he would be the first to admit he wasn't a perfect father, he loved his children and was proud of each of them. He always hoped to continue growing into the man and father they deserved.

Webster later attended Joseph's College of Barbering, where he earned his barber's license. He spent the rest of his life serving the Omaha community as a barber. For Bam, barbering was more than a profession—it was a place where friendships were built, stories were shared, and laughter was always welcome.

Outside of work, Webster was a man who could fix just about anything. Whether it was working on a car, repairing something around the house, or figuring out a project that seemed impossible, he loved working with his hands and took pride in helping others.

If you were looking for Bam on his day off, there was a good chance you'd find him outdoors. He loved fishing and camping and enjoyed any opportunity to get outside and spend time with the people he cared about. Whether he was casting a line into the water, relaxing around a campfire, or simply enjoying the fresh air, those moments brought him peace and happiness. For Webster, the outdoors wasn't just a place to go—it was where some of his favorite memories were made with family and friends.

Wherever Bam went, laughter was sure to follow. He had a personality that could light up any room and a smile that made people feel at ease. He loved music, good food, and being surrounded by the people he loved. At family gatherings and cookouts, Webster was often the life of the party—telling jokes, laughing until everyone else was laughing too, dancing when the music came on, and making sure everyone was having a good time. His energy was contagious, and his presence had a way of bringing people together. Long after the music stopped and the gathering ended, the memories of Bam's laughter and joyful spirit remained.

Bam's life reminds us that none of us are defined solely by our circumstances or our shortcomings. We are remembered for the love we shared, the laughter we gave, the people we helped, and the memories we created.

When those who loved Webster think of him, they'll remember a man standing over the grill with music playing, telling jokes that had everyone laughing, fixing whatever needed fixing, and doing things his own way. Those moments, more than anything else, are the legacy he leaves behind.

Forever our Bam. Forever loved. Forever remembered.
