Yanki Smith, 48, passed away on January 22, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory: Daughters: Miracle Smith of St. Louis, Ma’Kiyah Smith of Omaha and Ya’Miyah Smith of Omaha. Brothers: Matthew Lathan of Florida, Clyde Smtih of Omaha, Shawn Smith of Omaha, Keith Smith of Omaha, Robert Smith of Omaha, Laron Smith of Las Vegas, Jeffrey Smith of Las Vegas, James Smith of Omaha and Eric Carter of Texas. Sister, Felicia Smith of Omaha. Aunts: Doris Allen, Lisa Crawford and Christa Crawford. Uncles: Gerry Crawford and Michael Crawford and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones who she considered her sisters, brothers, aunts and uncles.

Services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home - 90th Street Chapel. Visitation for family and friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.
