Gary Hines, age 78, also known to family and friends as Hawk, passed away in Omaha, Nebraska, on November 18, 2022. He was born December 8, 1943 to Carl and Blossom Hines in Davenport, IA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bill (Carol) Hines; and sister, Carol (Richard) Lorimer.

Gary is survived by his significant other, Anna Christensen; children, Brien Hines and Taye Conkle; step children, Lorinda Johnson, Michelle Christensen, Deanne Thompson, Cynthia Bryant and Sherry Bryant; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Lynda (Jim Bichel) Uleman; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 6:00PM, at Good Shepherd Funeral Home's 90th Street Chapel.
